Kavod Senior Life earns prestigious Beacon Award for “Best in Wellness”
Kavod is proud to announce that it has won the 2022 ICAA NuStep Beacon Award, which recognizes the Top 25 senior living communities in North America.
Honoring the “Best in Wellness,” the annual Beacon Awards are presented by the International Council on Active Aging (ICAA), which leads, connects and defines the active-aging industry, and NuStep, LLC, a major manufacturer of recumbent cross-trainers used in healthcare, senior living and fitness centers.
“Congratulations to these exemplary organizations that are leading the way in wellness-based models in the active-aging industry,” says Colin Milner, CEO and founder of ICAA. “We are thrilled to recognize their ongoing commitment to fostering a wide variety of opportunities for residents and staff to live better longer.”
Prioritizing and nurturing the many aspects of wellness enables individuals to embrace their potential to pursue and optimize life’s possibilities. As the older adult population grows, senior living communities can significantly influence health, longevity and quality of life by establishing wellness as an essential, beneficial way of life.
“We are honored to receive this distinguished award,” says Michael Klein, President and CEO of Kavod Senior Life. “We strive to empower our residents, staff and community members to age positively and well. To be recognized for our efforts is an added confirmation that our work is headed in the right direction.”
Wellness is not simply something to add to programs and services; instead, it is a mindset and foundation that permeates every aspect of life for all residents and staff of senior living communities. Beacon Award winners like Kavod Senior Life serve as powerful examples for others to emulate.
